Analysis of Chris Brown Promotional Poster.
This poster is similar to the Kanye West one in terms of the
colour and the vibrancy. This is very different to our desired image as we want
ours to be dark and moody to highlight our artist’s depressive state. However,
this poster will link to ours as Chris Browns face is the most important part
of the poster which is how we want ours to be. The lighting and colour tones
will be different however the use of the model will be very similar.
This research is useful as we can refine it more specifically for our own by determining where to place our own model based on Chris Browns position on the poster. We can also determine how professional artists present themselves as neither Chris Brown nor Kanye West feature their name in large letters as they believe people already know who they are. This is successful research as we learn how to make our artists poster look professional by following the examples of these well-known artists.
