Filming Connor passing out. 

We filmed Connor on a black sofa with matching black clothes to highlight his depression and isolation. We then had him laying down, we focused on his arm as we wanted him to drop his arm and let the bottle fall out of his hand as if he is passed out.

This is to show his drunken state as he is clearly passing out in the middle of the day as it is light out and he is laying down, the bottle then falls out of is hand which illustrates Connor passing out. We chose to do it this way as it would be hard to film someone acting like they passed out by focusing on their face as this would require their acting skills to be very successful to ensure the message was clear.

This way it was the bottle which had to do all the work which makes it easier to film and create.

Some of these shots were unsuccessful as he was trying too hard therefore you can see him open his hand to release the bottle which is a sign he is pretending to pass out as he clearly has control of his body which is not what we wanted.

These shots were all that were on the memory card however we did film more, this was because my memory card corrupted again which made some of our filming delete.

This was inconvenient as Connor was getting better as we carried on filming therefore the best shots were the ones that were deleted.

Some of these can still work however we may just have to edit them a bit by either blurring them or speeding them up.
